My Kitchen Must-Haves & Favorite Wellness Items

Time to roll out the gift guides! Whether you’re shopping for yourself or someone else, I wanted to break down some of my favorite kitchen items and my favorite ‘wellness’ purchases. This mini guide is meant to inspire you to live well and give with intention.

Kitchen Must-Haves

Green Pans:

Childhood best friends created ceramic nonstick pans in 2007 after learning about how toxic conventional nonstick pans are. The plastic and chemical coating of nonstick cookware is known as “forever chemicals.” These chemicals are linked to a slew of diseases and negative health effects, including cancer, thyroid disease, liver damage, and affecting the immune system. These besties showed the world with their cookware products that it is possible to cook PFAS-free!

Green Pans Crockpot:

One of my favorite ways to meal prep or have a low-maintenance meal is to use a slow cooker. Just like the original Green Pans, the Green Pans Crockpot is PFAS-free, toxin-free, and ceramic.

Glass Pyrex Storage:

Instead of relying on plastic dishware storage for meal prep, opt for glass. Using plastic dishware can increase your exposure to BPA and phthalates when heated. These substances can cause endocrine disruptors, reproductive issues, developmental problems, and an increased risk of certain cancers.

Zester:

The ultimate tool with many uses! Whether you’re zesting lemon or grating cheese, using a microplane has made my life so much easier. Using a microplane has allowed me to elevate many of my more basic dishes by zesting citrus or grating spices and cheeses for extra flavor.

Vitamix Blender:

Serving as the all-in-one, year-round best kitchen product is a Vitamix. When you think of blenders, you may only think about smoothies or shakes, but Vitamix is such a game-changer for meal prep, acting as a food processor for salad dressings, soups, baking, and creating tasty snacks.

Great for adding extra sliced vegetables for salads or easy snack prep, I always turn to my mandoline slicer. This tool allows for customized slicing thickness with a durable blade.

Shun Knives:

Investing in a quality knife makes all the difference in the kitchen. These long-lasting and high-quality knives are famous for their 700-year-old tradition of fine metalsmithing.

Boos Wooden Cutting Board:

These durable cutting boards are made with superior materials and sustainably-sourced wood. With an oil finish and choice of wood finishes, it’s perfect to use as a cutting board, charcuterie board, or serving platter.

Frother:

For coffee, electrolytes, or protein powder, I rely on my frother for a quick mix.

My Favorite Wellness Items

Even though there are numerous different options for health tracking, Ōura Rings are state-of-the-art in tracking overall wellness. With their start in Finland, Ōura Rings’ Nordic philosophy is one we can all strive for: balance. As you wear the Ring day in and day out, it continually tracks data on over 20 biometrics to directly impact your wellbeing. It has extremely accurate data: 99% heart rate accuracy, 98% HRV, 92% body temperature, 79% sleep tracking (compared to clinical polysomnography at 79%).

The Ring helps you tune into your body in a completely new and advanced way.

8-pound weighted vest:

From my morning sunlight walks to my after-dinner evening strolls, I love having the option to throw on my 8-pound weighted vest.

32 oz Hydro Flask water bottle:

My Hydro Flask goes with me everywhere. As a way to reduce my exposure to PFAS (and other plastic-laden chemicals) and environmental impact, I love having a reusable water bottle on hand. Hydroflasks are insulated–keeping drinks both hot and cold for hours–and leak-proof.

Pilates Ball and Resistance Bands:

Having a pilates ball and resistance bands are my go-tos for elevated at-home workouts!

Manduka Yoga Mat:

Investing in a nice yoga mat makes all the difference for yoga and pilates classes, solo gym sessions, and at-home workouts. I love my Manduka mat because it has a slip-resistant, yet non-sticky, surface and provides superior support.

Green Envee Body Oil:

When the winter cooler temperatures bring on dry skin, I love using my Green Envee body oil for deep moisturization with skin healing benefits. The oil has antioxidant ingredients such as Noni Fruit and Tiger Grass Extract that regenerate skin cells, stimulate collagen, and heal scarring.

Green Envee Essential Oils:

Green Envee has various essential oil blends with different benefits for the mind and body. Each blend is crafted with high-quality therapeutic-grade essential oils to help with stress management, immunity, sleep, relaxation, balance, and more.

PIQUE Life:

When it comes to wellness habits, it has to be simple & effective. That’s why I love Pique Life B.T. Electrolytes. These electrolytes are extra special because they not only have top-shelf minerals provide deep hydration, but also clinically proven ceramides that visibly improve skin elasticity and reduce fine lines and hyaluronic acid supports a youthful, dewy glow.

Sun Goddess Matcha: 100% organic ceremonial grade matcha from Japan. Quadruple toxin screened for purity and bioavailability. Green tea is considered one of the most anti-inflammatory foods because it’s rich in catechins, especially EGCG, which help reduce inflammatory signaling and oxidative stress in the body. These compounds support cellular repair, protect against chronic inflammation, and may lower the risk of inflammatory conditions. Green tea also supports gut health and metabolic balance, both of which play key roles in regulating systemic inflammation.
